Orders

The website allows a person (“user”) to place electronic orders (“order”) for one or more products on offer, as long as such products are available.

A purchasing contract (“sale”) between the user and Reclineronline shall be completed only once a user has placed an order, online or in-store, and the payment has been processed fully, meaning Reclineronline has received and accepted the payment.

On made-to-order items, Reclineronline will proceed with manufacture where a minimum of a 50% deposit has been received. The balance will be due to Reclineronline BEFORE delivery.

Reclineronline reserves the right to cancel any order.

Payment

If payment fails due to the account not existing, insufficient funds, the credit card number or other information being incorrect etc. the purchase will not be successful. The above is dependent on the product being available.

EFT Payment

Orders will be processed once the EFT payment reflects in the Reclineronline bank account. Reclineronline will not proceed with any order on receipt of Proof of Payment alone.

Orders placed after hours, on weekends or public holidays will be processed the following business day.

Reservation

Products cannot be reserved by a user to be bought at a later time. Placing an item in the cart without processing the payment for the order will not lead to a successful order being placed nor the reservation of (an) item(s).

Availability

Reclineronline products are made-to-order, and manufacture will proceed on a minimum of a 50% deposit being successfully received. The balance of payment is due by the customer BEFORE delivery. From time to time, Reclineronline may have selected items in stock and available for order.

If it happens that Reclineronline is unable to fulfill any order at the advertised price because stock is sold out or unavailable, Reclineronline will let the customer know, and will reimbursement the customer for the rand value paid for such product.

Termination of Suspected Fraudulent Orders

Reclineronline reserves the right to cancel or refuse to fulfill any order that it suspects to be fraudulent. This includes, but is not limited to, instances of suspected stolen credit cards and abuse of referral programme incentives.

On occasion, a Customer Service Agent may request a copy of official identification document or the front of the credit card to verify the transaction with the relevant bank. Reclineronline may cancel any order where the necessary documentation is not provided in a timely manner (i.e., within 24 hours).

In the event of a fraudulent purchase being made on the Reclineronline website or in-store, cardholders will be advised to initiate a chargeback via their bank in order to be refunded. Reclineronline does not process refunds for orders suspected of fraud.

Reclineronline does not accept cheque payments.

Products and Shipping

The turnaround times for delivery vary from brand to brand and are outlined on the Reclineronline website or explained in-store by the Reclineronline Sales Consultant. The delivery lead time quoted is given in good faith, and an approximate guide only. Due to manufacturing and/or transport delays, the lead time may be extended. Reclineronline will strive to adhere to the lead times provided.

PLEASE NOTE: Lead times may be extended over the December/January period, as the manufacturers are closed over that time and usually reopen in the second week in January.

Shipping Policy

  1. Reclineronline delivers in Gauteng only. The service is a door-to-door service. This means that the item/s is delivered to the address and not the person. Note: if the person is not available it can be left with anyone at that address.
  2. Reclineronline may allow for order collections from its warehouse. All collections are arranged by appointment ONLY and only once full payment is reflecting in the Reclineronline bank account. If the customer is personally collecting, he/she must provide an original ID, as well as a copy of the ID. If a third party is collecting on behalf of the customer, he/she must provide an original ID, as well as a copy of the ID. In addition, the driver must present a copy of the customer’s ID.
  3. Reclineronline will not accept any claims for damage to goods or personal injury where goods are purchased unassembled. No claims for refunds will be entertained where goods have been assembled, affixed or installed by the customer or its representative. If the customer chooses to unbox and assemble the product him/herself, Reclineronline takes no responsibility for damages that may be caused. Customer shall acknowledge this upon delivery.
  4. Reclineronline delivers Monday to Friday between 09h00 and 17h00. Any special deliveries that are arranged on weekends, after hours, or public holidays, will incur an additional charge.
  5. Reclineronline cannot ship to P.O. boxes, farms or rural areas.
  6. All goods in transit are insured.
  7. Reclineronline reserves the right to amend shipping costs at any time.
  8. Should an order not be delivered through no fault of ours (e.g., no-one on premises/unable to answer calls/invalid or incomplete address), we will attempt to contact the customer via phone and email to make delivery arrangements. If we are unable to reach the customer, the order will be returned to our warehouse and checked back into stock until such time as the customer contacts Reclineronline. The customer will incur a R500 per month storage fee (or part thereof) as well as additional delivery fees. The customer will incur a second delivery charge when the item is delivered.

Returns and Refunds

Approved refunds are paid directly into the customers bank account upon receipt of proof of banking details provided by the customer. Refunds will take 7-14 working days to process and reflect in the customer’s account. The customer will be responsible for the costs incurred to collect the item/s and this cost will be deducted from the refund amount due to the customer. In addition, Reclineronline will charge a 25% admin fee, which covers any bank charges incurred by Reclineronline as well as transportation costs.

Please note that shipping fees are not refundable.

  1. Defective Items

If the customer is dissatisfied with their purchase due to a defect or incorrect product received, the customer should notify Reclineronline in writing, within 2 days of delivery. A Customer Service Agent will make contact to discuss the correct course of action. If the defect is due to customer negligence, the customer shall be liable for the cost of the repair as well as the cost of collection and delivery.
The product may be repaired or replaced, depending on the outcome of the assessment. Factory faults are repaired at no cost to the customer. The workmanship, construction and all raw materials used for repairs, as well as collection and delivery, are included.

Claims must be accompanied by the completed Repair Assessment Form provided by the Customer Service Agent when the repair is logged. Claims are subject to assessment by trained staff and will be subject to management’s discretion.

Should the customer choose to collect the product and take it outside of Gauteng, the customer shall be liable for the cost of collection and delivery.

  1. Cooling Off/ Cancellation Policy

Cancellations requested after items have been dispatched and have been delivered, will be treated as a return. From the date of delivery, the customer has 7 working days to notify Reclineronline in writing that they wish to return the item. Reclineronline offers a full money back guarantee; the customer, however, will be charged a 25% admin fee as well as be responsible for the collection charges. After this 7 working day period Reclineronline reserves the right to refuse a return or exchange.

  1. Factory Stock

All items sold in our factory outlets, are sold “voetstoots”, and Reclineronline shall not be liable for any defects. The customer admits to having inspected the item/s to his/her satisfaction and no guarantees or warrantees of any nature were made by Reclineronline regarding the condition or quality of the item.

ERRORS AND OMISSIONS EXCEPTED (E&OE)

While every care is exercised, Reclineronline shall not be liable for errors on its website (reclineronline.co.za), including the mis-positioning of any advertisement or the wrong pricing of products. Should a case such as this occur, Reclineronline has the right to amend the error without effect. Customers who view an incorrect ad or price do not have the right to make any claim. 

Special Order Goods

In accordance with Section 42 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, the 7-day return/ refund policy is not applicable to customer made/ special order goods. If a special order is cancelled Reclineronline reserves the right to levy a reasonable cancellation penalty based on costs incurred by Reclineronline at the time of cancellation.

GUARANTEES

The Reclineronline guarantee covers factory faults or defects. NO damages caused by wear and tear, negligence, abuse, accidents or causes unrelated to defective materials or workmanship are covered, or if the recliner has been altered in any way from its original state.

Reclineronline will not accept any claims for damage to goods or personal injury where goods are purchased unassembled. No claims for refunds will be entertained where goods have been assembled, affixed or installed by the customer or its representative. If the customer chooses to unbox and assemble the product him/herself, Reclineronline takes no responsibility for damages that may be caused. Customer shall acknowledge this upon delivery.

All factory and demo stock is sold “voetstoots”, and Reclineronline shall not be liable for any defects. The customer admits to having inspected the item/s to his/her satisfaction and no guarantees of any nature were made by Reclineronline regarding the condition or quality of the item.

Guarantees will similarly not apply where the customer has disregarded the Reclineronline’s care and cleaning instructions provided in the welcome pack and available on the website.

Please Note: Weight restrictions apply on the Recliner seats:

  • Calgan Ella Range: 110kg.
  • Alpine: 135kg.

If an item needs to be repaired or recovered, the fabrics used may be of a different dye lot to those used to produce your unit originally, so colours may not be identical.

This guarantee does not include:

  • Fair wear and tear
  • Coverings of any type

Full Genuine Leather Goods and Leather Upper Goods

Please take careful note that leather is a skin and carries natural inherent characteristics, which are normally associated with a product of this nature. Variations in colour, shade and tone can be expected. Tick bite marks, scratches and scars do occur on genuine leather and due to the natural elasticity of hides, leather will stretch with use. These features enhance the unique character of the leather goods. Reclineronline will not accept any claims for these inherent characteristics.

Please take further note that allowance must be made for a percentage of foam compression in the lounge suite seats, which can occur over time.

Recliner suites have moving parts which are subject to ordinary wear and tear depending on the frequency of use. Allowance must be made for this.

Cleaning and Care Instructions

Customers are to take note of cleaning instructions pertaining to suede, leather look, leather upper and full genuine leather products provided in the welcome pack and available on the website. Failure to adhere to these cleaning instructions will negatively affect all guarantees.

Promotional Voucher Codes

From time-to-time users will receive promotions in the form of unique codes that can be used at checkout or in-store to unlock certain discounts.

Promotional vouchers are issued at the discretion of Reclineronline. Users do not have the right to promotional vouchers and cannot earn them. Promotional vouchers are issued with specific terms and conditions that regulate their use.

A voucher can only be used once and only one voucher can be used per checkout. Enter the voucher code at checkout and the value of the voucher will be deducted from the total amount in your shopping cart. The remaining balance, if any, must be paid by you.

Sales and Promotions

Sale Offer is only applicable to selected available stock on website and in store, and while stocks last. Discounts cannot be retroactively applied to previous purchases or sale items and are exclusive of shipping charges. Discounts may not be combined with other offers or discounts. Reclineronline have the right to remove a promotion or an active coupon from our online store with immediate effect and without prior notice. Campaign dates for coupon codes/discount prices on the Reclineronline website are subject to change at any time, without prior notice to you.

Competitions

From time to time, Reclineronline may run competitions through its website and other channels. The prizes offered as well as the competition requirements (for winning) may also change from time to time and will be disclosed during the running of the competition.

Reclineronline cannot guarantee the quality or the fulfillment of the prizes by third parties. The winner of competitions will be decided by Reclineronline at its full discretion. Reclineronline staff and their family members are not allowed to participate, will not be considered for competition winners in these competitions and will not be eligible to win.

Competition prizes are only eligible to winners based in the Gauteng region. Entry to all competitions is only open to residents of the Gauteng region with a delivery address in the Gauteng region only.

Service Disruption

Reclineronline reserves the right to limit or discontinue the functionality of the site. While we strive to be online continuously, we cannot exclude cases in which the webpage may be unavailable. In rare cases this may cause data loss.

Reclineronline cannot be held liable for cross-browser incompatibilities that cause checkout or payment failures. We recommend that you browse with Google Chrome, Safari or Firefox.

The customer must present a legitimate quote from an authentic retailer. The product quoted on, must be the same brand, configuration, and fabric as the Reclineronline product.
